Samsung Electronics’ Ho Chi Minh City CE Complex is set to be powered by a 28 MWp rooftop solar system, installed and operated by TotalEnergies ENEOS under a 20-year PPA. The system will feature around 45,000 solar modules, generating over 40,000 MWh/year, covering ~26% of the factory’s annual electricity needs.
This project highlights Vietnam’s growing commitment to renewable energy, alongside smaller solar installations across Long An, Binh Dinh, and Hanoi. Southeast Asia’s solar market is rapidly expanding, offering opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth.
